Designed in 1930 by British designer Robert Dudley Best, the BL3 lamp is a contemporary classic design that secured its icon status after famously illuminating Winston Churchill’s desk. Best was inspired by the Bauhaus movement and this is reflected in the BL3 Floor Lamp’s clean lines and elegant expression, paired with great functionality with an adjustable arm and moveable shade. Available in soft white and soft black, the Bestlite BL2 Table Lamp works as reading light in any contemporary home where statement lighting is sought for.

Designer Bio - Robert Dudley

Robert Dudley Best was heir to the world’s largest lighting manufacturing company Best & Lloyd, founded in Birmingham in 1840. Despite the company’s proud history of providing traditional lamps to a prestigious clientele, including Titanic and the Orient Express, Dudley Best was interested in a new collection that symbolised the spirit of the new age by appealing to the more avantgarde architects and setting a new agenda for lamp design.

All workmanship is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase. Fabrics are covered by this warranty for 1 year after date of purchase.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, willful damage, misuse or failure to care properly for goods. Freight charges and service calls made after goods have been signed for in good order may incur additional charges. A copy of the original invoice and images are required for warranty requests. Warranty for brands carried by Bodhi Living will be passed on as per the manufacturer’s Warranty / guarantee.   

Delivery and Returns

We offer shipping nationwide through our wide range of delivery partners. Shipping rates are calculated based on the size and weight of the order. Premium white glove delivery, including rubbish removal and install can also be discussed upon purchase.

International shipping is quoted in Australian dollars and is not inclusive of country-specific import duty.
